99% of the time I love Tobin's work, but this one didn't really do it for me. I was excited when this aud came around not too long ago, and it's good in it's own way, but something about the combination here just doesn't sound all that great to me. Still, it was a noble effort (and it doesn't totally suck or anything, I'm just saying that for me these sources don't seem to make the best matrix), and much appreciated.

I agree it's not the best sounding Matrix from the Wall of Sound as it doesn't seem to have the warmth some others have. I believe the AUD recording was made off to Jerry's side based on Jim Anderson photos I've seen from the show which are mostly in that area. Perhaps not being head-on had something to do with it. At the end of the day, it's a Matrix from nearly 40 years ago so it passes muster on that alone!

it doesnt, but it does have a lot of muscle. sounds great to me
